Kinetic Electricity Generator (KinEG) is one of the projects that has been received recognition from the Malaysian Innovation Foundation. This project provides innovation of rotor that is placed on a top of domestic ceiling fan at home. The rotor capable to generate a free electricity using concept of Electromagnetic Force. It is like an old bicycle that had a dynamo to turn on the lights. When the fan is spinning it will provide kinetic energy then it will convert into electrical energy. Electrical energy that has been produce will be stored in a power bank. Therefore, others electrical equipment such as Television, Radio, Lamp, Computer, and Smart Phone can use electricity from this Power bank. In other words, the electricity from the supplier company is only use for turning the fan, while other electrical appliances will get electricity from the power bank. It can help users, especially the B40 group, to savings electricity bill of around 60% - 75% every month. In addition, this project also integrates with IoT Monitoring system where users can remotely monitor all activities related to voltage and current in KinEG or its power bank system.
